The air quality for today will be good in the Midwest due to rainy and windy weather.  Particle levels are expected to be good or moderate while ozone low.  Shown is a picture of one of the measurement sites for the upcoming Lake Michigan Ozone Study (LMOS2017).  Things are starting to come together!

Rain and winds from the north have continued through the week. It is a sunny Thursday morning in Iowa and the air quality is good. The forecast is predicting clean air for the Midwest through Saturday. It is a great time to get out and enjoy the break in the rain.

Rain and north winds are keeping conditions clean.  Although conditions are good outside, indoor air quality is something to keep in mind especially as you think about spring cleaning.  Check out this EPA article for tips to improve indoor air quality.
