The IIHR Information Resource Center is on the
second floor, room 207, at the north end of the C. Maxwell Stanley
Hydraulics Laboratory.
Document collections reflect ongoing instruction and investigations at
IIHR. These address a wide range of topics within the hydrosciences.
Extensive holdings are included in fluid mechanics, hydraulic
engineering, hydrometeorology, hydrology, ship hydrodynamics, cold
regions engineering, and other water and fluids related disciplines.
The IRC houses IIHR graduate theses and Technical Reports and tens of
thousands of publications written or studied by our affiliates.
Growing IIHR Bibliographic Databases track 140,000 titles as of this
writing. Customized searches can be conducted with the assistance of the
Librarian. Printouts of previous searches on hundreds of highly
specialized topics and by influential authors in the hydrosciences are
readily available.
Copy edit services are offered by IRC staff.
Meeting space with seating for eight is available.
The IRC is open from 12:30 to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, Fall
through Spring, and Monday through Thursday over the Summer. |
