Team LiDAR at the University of Iowa has a number of instruments typically used during field experiments. In addition to elastic and Raman LiDARs, they have an ammonia sensor, a laser particle sizer, a surface examiner instrument (SExI), rain distrometers, and meteorological equipment. This suite of instruments allows measurement of a wide range of atmospheric parameters, characterizing the flow and transfer of atmospheric particulates as well as tracking rainfall and soil erosion.
