Ward Earns Distinguished Mentor Award

Ward-Adam -smallAdam Ward has been selected to receive the University of Iowa’s Distinguished Mentor Award, which is presented to University of Iowa faculty or professional and scientific staff who have mentored undergraduates as they complete research and creative projects. Current students nominate their mentors for this award.

Ward is an assistant professor in the Department of Earth and Environmental Science, as well as an IIHR assistant research engineer. His research focuses on catchment science, and the ecological implications of solute transport and fate. He is part of the University of Iowa’s Water Sustainability Initiative.
