This
Webcam points northward from the Hydraulics Laboratory of the university's
world-renowned IIHR. It captures a live
view of the campus and the picturesque Iowa River, which is central to
city and university life.
From this vantage one can see the University
Library, which holds one of the nation's largest public-university
collections, and the University's English-Philosophy Building.
Beyond the distant river span-the
Iowa Avenue Bridge-is
Hancher Auditorium, which has
been lauded by critics to be among finest performing arts facilities in
the country. The white building at top-center of this view is the Levitt Center
for University Advancement.
