Precipitation Committee


About the Precipitation Committee:

The Precipitation Committee is one of the technical committees within the Hydrology Section of the American Geophysical Union.  Its primary role is to plan and sponsor special sessions for the Spring and Fall annual meetings.  It is also involved in other activities to support and promote precipitation research.

 

How to join and participate in the Precipitation Committee:

Membership in the committee is open to AGU members.  The way to join is to participate.  You can participate in several ways:

  • Attend committee meetings.  Regular meetings are scheduled during the Fall and Spring Annual Meetings.  Attendance is open to anyone.

  • Propose a special session and/or help in organizing one.

  • Attend and contribute to special sessions sponsored by the committee.
