This website and the enclosed information are managed by the Hydraulic Instrumentation Section (HIS) of the International Association of Hydraulic Engineering and Research (IAHR). HIS is a world-wide platform in the area of hydraulic research and engineering facilitating through international collaboration dissemination of ideas, new solutions, and knowledge on experimental instruments and methods. The instrumentation database set by HIS provides an important link between manufacturer and users of these instruments. Particular action is needed in the testing of instruments, a field in which a new system of data exchange should be setup in the future.
