| This website and the enclosed information are managed by the
Hydraulic Instrumentation Section (HIS) of the
International Association of Hydraulic Engineering and Research (IAHR). HIS is a world-wide platform in the
area of hydraulic research and engineering facilitating through international collaboration dissemination of ideas,
new solutions, and knowledge on experimental instruments and methods.
|
| The instrumentation database set by HIS provides an important link between manufacturer and users of these
instruments. Particular action is needed in the testing of instruments, a field in which a new system of data
exchange should be setup in the future. Efforts to establish IAHR as a contributor to the efforts of international
standardization are currently undertaken.
