The new issue of IIHR Currents is coming soon to your mailbox! This issue explores the theme “IIHR’s Global Reach.” With a focus on water quantity and quality, stories range from aquifer storage and recharge in the state of Iowa to clean water and sanitation research in Kenya. The issue also debuts the Iowa Flood Center’s new Iowa Water Quality Information System (IWQIS), and highlights a novel archaeological find by the Iowa Geological Survey that caught the attention of the National Geographic Channel!

IIHR Currents was born in 2010 with the idea of an annual report, which ultimately evolved into a magazine and a financial report. Currents tells compelling stories while raising awareness of the institute and its work.
