Air Quality Update Apr 26

The air quality for today will be moderate for parts of the Midwest. A high pressure system and winds from the south-east will continue into the evening. The winds will shift to coming from the west bringing in some cleaner air for tomorrow.

The National Weather Service is forecasting a high ozone event over Lake Michigan this evening at 7:00 pm. These episodes are common in this region and represent the purpose for the Lake Michigan Ozone Study (LMOS 2017) that will take place Summer 2017.
