IIHR-Hydroscience & Engineering

The national organization of Engineers Without Borders’ and the local Iowa Professional Chapter will be briefly described, followed by basic information about the country and people of El Salvador, specifically the Lower Lempa River area, where the Iowa Professional Chapter has been working. The majority of the presentation will cover the nature and extent of work completed to date, current on-going projects, opportunities for future involvement, and the challenges, and rewards, of working in a developing area. Additionally, information will be provided for those interested in becoming involved either locally or by travelling to El Salvador.
