Research Interests and Activities:

My research interests are on stratigraphy, paleontology, and Iowa bedrock geology. My recent research activities include the studies of the Middle Ordovician Winneshiek Lagerstätte and the Decorah impact structure discovered in northeastern Iowa, digital bedrock geologic mapping in Iowa, Iowa general geology, and public education.
