Off We Go! (Dec. 28)

by Jonathan Wong

Just a little nervous!

Just a little nervous!

We entered the airport and with a tinge of nervousness and excitement, we sat down together. We exchanged few words because we were mere strangers to each other for the most part (except for the graduate students and Bryce).

When we boarded the plane, the foreign scent of Masala/Indian food filled our nostrils. Interesting! We all found our seats, some higher class than others (cough cough, Thalia). It was a long plane ride. Our backs hurt and our glutes cramped, but luckily we were served a taste of India and were entertained by the small TV screens in front of us.

Ready to board!

Ready to board!

Many hours passed.

We arrived and were greeted by Raj. He and his friends took us to the Sehgal compounds.

We then exchanged money.

We went to Raj’s food. It was inexpensive and good.

We went to our new home in India, where jetlag overcame us.
