Biography: I am a native of Poland and a professional engineer at the Iowa Flood Center. I earned an MS in industrial engineering from the Warsaw University of Technology. My research interests at IFC include: database development, real-time data acquisition for the Iowa Flood Information System and other projects, and the development of GUI for hydro-NEXRAD and XPOL radars. I am also interested in many aspects of data visualization tools and techniques, image processing, photography, and design.
