I am a PhD candidate in civil and environmental engineering at the University of Iowa. I completed two masters degrees: one at the University of Maryland, College Park in computer science, and the other at the University of Iowa in civil engineering.
At IIHR, I am working with advisor Ibrahim Demir at the hydroinformatics lab conducting intersection research of water resources and information science. My PhD work is focused on the data-driven models, including machine learning and deep learning, and their applications on the streamflow and flood forecast at a high temporal and spatial resolution.
My research interests include rainfall-runoff modeling and machine learning modeling.
