List of River Flow 2016 Technical Exhibitors

Potential Exhibitors:

On behalf of the IAHR Committee on Fluvial Hydraulics, it is our pleasure to invite your company to participate in the Technical Exhibition of the River Flow 2016 – the 8th International Conference on Fluvial Hydraulics – to be held in St. Louis, Mo., July 12–15, 2016.

River Flow, the major international meeting in the area of river engineering and fluvial hydraulics, provides a forum to report the latest scientific findings, and to promote information exchange and cooperation among scientists, engineers, and researchers who share a common interest in river flows and transport processes. The conference will focus on the latest advances in experimental, theoretical, and computational tools in the field of fluvial hydraulics. Participants will consider how these tools can be used to expand our understanding and capacity to predict flow and the associated fluid-driven ecological processes, anthropogenic influences (e.g., heat, dissolved and suspended organic/inorganic material), sediment transport, and morphodynamic processes.

This conference is organized under the auspices of the International Association for Hydro-Environment Engineering and Research (IAHR). The conference is co-organized by IIHR—Hydroscience & Engineering, the University of Iowa (UI); and the Ven Te Chow Hydrosystems Laboratory of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC); and Saint Louis University, in partnership with the National Great Rivers Research and Education Center (NGRREC) at Alton, Ill. The Local Organizing Committee expects the participation of about 400 delegates. The conference venue will be the Busch Center located on the campus of the Saint Louis University in downtown Saint Louis.

The technical exhibition is planned during the conference for continuous display of products, software, instruments, and publications. The exhibition booths will be located in the immediate vicinity of the conference rooms, where coffee breaks and lunches will be served. We offer your company:

  • A booth to display your product with standard electrical supply (U.S. standard);
  • Free wireless connection;
  • The opportunity to include your advertising material in the delegate packet (material must be sent to the organization no later than June 20, 2016);
  • The opportunity to list your company on the conference website and proceedings; and
  • Full registration for one delegate from your company.

The cost for one standard booth (one table and two chairs) is $1,800. The cost for one expanded booth (two tables and four chairs) is $2,500. We will provide 6-foot-by-3-foot tables. Full registration for one delegate is included. Extra delegates can attend for $350 per person; coffee breaks and lunches are included. If a company would like the opportunity to do technical demonstrations and presentations (e.g., during coffee breaks or at lunch time), a representative should contact the Local Organizing Committee at riverflow2016@uiowa.edu with a description of the specific activities planned. We will let the company’s representative know if there will be an additional cost.

Cancellation policy:

  • 100% — reimbursement if cancelled on or before 31 December 2015
  • 50% — reimbursement if cancelled on or before May 1 2016
  • 0% — reimbursement if cancelled after May 1 2016

Please send the enclosed reservation form as soon as possible, and no later than May 1, 2016. Payment of the registration fee can also be made online. All conference details can be found on our website: www.riverflow2016.org.
