Lodging Information:

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Sheraton Iowa City Hotel located in downtown Iowa City. Rates are $129 plus tax per night. Paid parking is available in the adjacent ramp. You may make your reservation by calling 319-337-4058. This room block will expire on Saturday, May 5, 2012. Please indicate that you are attending the Shallow Flows conference when making your reservation.

 

A block of rooms is also available at the Iowa House Hotel, which is connected to the Iowa Memorial Union. Rates are $70 single/$75 double for interior rooms and $75/$80 for a river view. Newly remodeled rooms are available for $90 single and $95 double. Parking is complimentary. You may make your reservation by calling 319-335-3513. Please indicate that you are attending the Shallow Flows Symposium when making your reservation. This room block will expire on May 4, 2012.

 

Single and double dormitory rooms are available at the Mayflower Residence Hall. Rates are $50 per night for a single room and $34 for a double. Each suite has a shared kitchen and a shared bath. Linens and towels are provided. The building has wireless in public areas, Ethernet (no cables provided), a computer lab, air conditioning and laundry facilities. Parking is available on a first-come basis. Alcohol is strictly forbidden. Dorm room reservations and payment will be made during the Symposium registration process. You must make your reservation by May 14, 2012.

If a registrant chooses to sign up for a dorm room after his/her original registration, he/she will need to log back into the on-line registration or call The Center for Conferences at 1-800-551-9029, local 319-335-4141.
