How have we shaped the rivers, and how have they shaped us? This was the question guiding a fun day of outdoor learning for a group of 5th graders from Muscatine Schools. This spring, students visited the University of Iowa’s Lucille A. Carver Mississippi Riverside Environmental Research Station (LACMRERS), that supports research and education at IIHR—Hydroscience and Engineering (IIHR).
